Dr. Godwin Friday a distinguished gentleman of Bequia resides with his wife and children, Nicholas and Christian at Port Elizabeth, Bequia. Dr. Friday has an exceptional education background and impeccable professional achievements.
Dr. Friday’s professional life has seen him nurturing younger minds in his position of teacher at the Bequia Anglican High School and as a lecturer in Political Studies at Queen’s University in Canada. He worked in the capacity of Project Coordinator / Researcher in the District Immigrant Services. He also acted as legal Counsel to the Canada Department of Justice and the Ontario Regional Office. In 2002, he was called to the bar in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Out of a long standing desire to serve the people of his community and his country Godwin Friday entered politics. In the 2001 Elections he was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Northern Grenadines, where he filled the shoes of our beloved Sir James Mitchell admirably. Dr. Friday appreciates the need to keep faith with our past and understands our present challenges. Dr. Friday’s achievements are a reflection of his hard work and dedication to the people of the Northern Grenadines and the nation as a whole.

Mr. Benjamin Exeter was born in Layou on to very humble beginnings. While a student at the Layou Government School, his mother migrated him and his siblings to Toronto, Canada.
